How can Gaga win the streaming GP?

I honestly hope Gaga gets a streaming hit this era so those people saying she should go back to pure pop or that her music is not worth it now can finally shut the **** up.

She should make deals with Spotify like those Spotify sessions artist do and they promote them in return, collab with an artist she likes who has streaming power like Bruno.

And about youtube she just needs to find a balance and make videos with striking visuals but not too crazy for the GP to say that she's back again with the gimmicks, oh, and promote in some way in south America because we use YouTube like crazy.

Thats a big part why a lot of ppl want Gaga to work with a latin artist for a remix. it does not even need to be an official single just a remix of DIC or something. Having loyal latino fan base is so important now a days for Youtube views. It makes an artists youtube stats look impressive. No one cares where the streams come from so it won't matter if like 90% come from latin america. All ppl care is that the number looks big as it will help her image and help cement the fact that she can transition into the streaming era and not stay stuck in the digital age.

Also, all those long ass videos (that I LOVE) really damaged her YT streaming game. She used to be a force, but videos like Alejandro, Telephone, MTN, Y&I and GUY were, like, too much. idk it's just a silly theory.

I completely agree, it's all about big numbers and stuff. She needs to promote here in South America, specially countries where they already like her and are big on YT. I don't know how to feel about the remix because most of them are tragic as hell but I'm here for a Maluma collaboration, he's talented and his streaming power is insane.

Absolutely agree with you. I'm also not a big fan of remixes. Just said it like worst case scenario type of thing because I have a feeling unless her label forces a remix she would never actually want to work with someone like Maluma. Gaga is an open minded and sweet artist but she is so apprehensive when it comes to collabs so I highly doubt she'd sit down and pen a song with Maluma (or any latino artist) in mind as a collaborator tbh..It's so unfortunate

The only one I thought was too self indulgent was G.U.Y. that video would have easily been cut and Needed to be more focused so that it could become something great. The first part where she falls from the sky was epic. The rest was just messy IMO. The housewives and Bravo Andy? Why?

Totally, and if she does which we doubt it'll probably be for a new song where they work together since the beginning so that's not an option for the Joanne era. And even though I dislike those remixes so much I'd be here for a J Balvin one, I really like him and think he's creative and not as basic as Maluma.

Another option is Shakira(another streaming queen) which would be a dream come true but I don't know Gaga's opinion about her or if she would be interested at all in a collab.

I just don't want to be dragged by the pretentious monsters for admitting it but a collab betwen Gaga and Shakira would be so good and would help both. Someone mentioned in another thread how both could benefit from each other. Shakira could benefit from Gaga's strong itunes sales and Gaga could benefit from Shakira's extremely powerful streaming power. But liek you said I sort of think Gaga thinks Shakira is a generic pop star or something because of her english material. If Gaga were to ever listen to Shakira's spanish songs nad her amazing lyricism I think she'd be willing to work with her.

Mine too, Shakira was the first artist I ever liked and I stan all of her Spanish albums.

And not only streaming and sales but both could benefit from their popularity in the different markets, Shakira is a global star but she struggles in the US and Gaga has been pretty local this era so we could get a TRULY global smash hit if they collab.

I hope she at least recognizes Shakira's talent because her voice is so unique and she can dance a write beautiful songs too. Poor thing her English material is generic af. I think I saw sometime ago that Shakira loved Gaga and would love to collab with her, I hope a miracle happens and they meet. **** the pretentious monsters, Shakira is amazing and they will deal, it's worse to ask for a Britney or even Rihanna collab, they can't hold a candle to Shak when it comes to talent.

I'm talking about the length of the videos, not the quality. The GP ended up exhausted so they never watched any of her videos again I guess.

and yes! they'd have a true international hit. They'd both help each other where they are weak. 

and you are right! so many want a Britney or Rihanna collab (both robots who only sing material written for them) but dismiss a Shakira collab as being "desperate" or "selling out" when Shakira actually writes her stuff, produces a lot of it, dances amazingly and has brilliant stage presence and a unique voice.
