The Fame era was a BIG era for her. Not only because it was the beginning but EVERYONE was talking about her, or rather annoyingly being asked about her. Literally every artist in an interview would get asked "so what do you think of Lady Gaga?". As a super fan (I'd decided I was a super fan already lol) it was very exciting indeed. All the live promo, what was she up to and wearing next, who was she being spotted with.

It was my favorite gaga era personally and holds quite happy memories for me. I remember some school friends seeing the pussycat dolls live, and gaga was the opening act..they know I loved her so rang me and I listened to the whole thing! This was at the o2 in London I think.

And TF had her most successful singles to date. Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi.

As a side note, I absolutely loved her intro to most of the stuff she did in 2009, the Candy Warhol 'pop ate my heart' interlude(s), was always so epic to watch!!

 

 

 

And her imagine was so dehumanized at that point cause SHE WAS LITERALLY POP INDUSTRY AT THAT TIME  no other artist really archive that blend of public image with POP CULTURE like she did .The metaphor of POP eating her heart is like she was a vessel for a POP god

She was so theatrically that watching her was like watching an walking piece of art 

I am really curious if someday another artist will came and shook the entire POP CULTURE like she did

I'm assuming that the fans who think The Fame is basic didn't join until much later 

But the fact of the matter is that the bulk of the album, despite having quite a few fillers, were an excellent tribute to the desire and lengths people will go to become famous. It critiqued pop culture, society, and the current state of music at the time. It's considered an iconic masterpiece and one of, if no the best, debut album of any pop artist and musician in general. 

Plus without The Fame, Gaga would not be the Gaga you've all come to love, so for that, I am very grateful. 

OT: it would be cute if she remastered some of the vocals and reworked the track list, perhaps incorporating unreleased tracks. 

But honestly, I'd rather have a new album to be honest
