I really think John Wayne should be the next single, with DiC after around july august. John Wayne is catchy, sounds cool, has great and relatable lyrics, has a bomb music video, and sounds good live. I think it's a great choice.

DIC may undo a lot of this eras accomplishments tho. Im not sure if thats worth a hit single

Stop trying to "cleanse" Gaga's image. She's still seen as a provacateur (she wore Jean booty shorts at the start of the era that was akin to a thong). Releasing DiC is not going to damage her reputation.

Dancing in Circles is NOT going to happen. It's like Mary Jane Holland. The song is to campy, lyrics would not appeal to the GP, is super outdated with the tropical feel...

The only thing she's really cleansed is her talent. The last few years have been a successful campaign to show that she is much more than just a typical pop star with average vocals; she's managed to change that opinion and achieve critical acclaim as well. 

But regarding her music, no, she's still seen as a pop star and Joanne is a pop album, and having a sexually charged song is not going to destroy her image or ruin her chances of ever being taken seriously ever again. She's freaking 30 years old omg. It's not a big deal. If she really didn't want to have that become a possibility, DiC wouldn't have been added to the Joanne track list.

But they're certainly out on for the intention of being heard by bothe fans and the public. 

Dude just let it go  I know you think the song is going to gain career damaging notoriety but, it's not. If anything, some soccer moms will complain and in doing so gain some attention from the public. Best case scenario, it becomes her first international hit in a long, long, long time. 

I for one would love for her to take that risk and go for it, and I hope she does too.

They should release A‒YO first, it has bigger hit potential.
There is not even one single demographic I can imagine not bopping to A‒YO playing on the radio. 

Also DIC kinda died for me, I don't feel like it has that much hit potential anymore, something doesn't add up.

Aside from all the complaints that I have said before and others have said, I just don't know if being provocative is going to work for Gaga at the moment. Her last controversial sexual hit on a world scale was DWUW, which is long ago as it is but in America, the last big controversial sexual hit was...does BR count? Or maybe Lovegame? Actually, when you look back at Gaga's single history, she really doesn't have that many controversial choices as singles, not all of them are even about sex. TF era was really the only one where every track was about relationships/sex/being wild. Every era since has included more diverse choices. The last Gaga song that was about sex (and it's more about being in love than anything else anyway) to go top ten was Y&I. She's only had 2 top tens in the US since then and neither of them were about sex. So, I don't know if she could get away with this. Her biggest hits have never been as sexually charged as your average popstar.

If she was Britney, Rihanna or even Ariana, I'd say go for it. But Gaga doesn't rely on sex to sell as much as they do. She's also not considered a sex symbol like they are (don't know why, she's sex on legs). Overall, I don't think the public are craving a controversial sex song from Gaga. The average person doesn't want to think about Gaga rubbing one out. The song is a bit too strange and experimental to do well as Gaga's song. If it was by someone younger and more current, it would stand a better chance but as it is, there's too much stacked against it. A-Yo is a sex song that could work because while being sexual, it's not controversially so. I could actually stand to listen to this around my parents. Therefore, I think it's a wiser choice.

I guarantee DiC is going to be the single that got away. She might pull a John Wayne for it and release a video.
