Judas - the song had religious theme even if it was a metaphor, the GP is stupid and religious, not surprising it flopped MTN- it was the 5th and last single, it's a common thing to happen, see Rihanna and Taylor G.U.Y - fukcing outdated for 2014, GP was done with Zedd/EDM type of music, maybe if she didn't take so long to release it would have done better PI is the REAL undeserved flop Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can see why, the message screams "new era." Let's face it, anything Gaga released at this point in time would've been a hit so I don't see why her team couldn't just take the risk. Plus, it's amazing what promo can do. It peaked at #16 in the UK after an X Factor performance, which is great for a fifth single from an album that had already sold so much. Thinking about what it could have done if it was the lead single or even just an earlier single makes me weep. Marry The Night is gorgeous but it was cursed since the begin when it was supposed to be the second then third and then ended as the fifth single. MTN vs Scheisse was the begin of the end...
