Despite having good promo,a good video and her being huge at the time the song did horrible on the radio (slightly better than pi),and stayed in the hot 100 for like 6 weeks. It might not be a G.U.Y kind of flop but it is a flop

Illuminati 15,921
GUY was like the DIC of ARTPOP it deserved to do better. Other than that PI for sure, she left it on its own without any promo pretty much.
Boyboi12 2,125
I think Judas would have been ok if it didn't get pulled from the radio because of the pending lawsuit.
gagagoogoose 30,952
Marry The Night. It's such an underrated bop that should've been the lead or 2nd single of Born This Way. The music video is amazing, so visually striking and personal.

Drin Lon 7,875
G.U.Y. could have done so much better if it wasn't released in an already dead era and had some promotion. It was so fuccking radio friendly MTN would have done similarly to Yoü And I if it was managed better, and it would have done better world wide. Releasing it in December was such a stupid idea and Gaga was kinda overexposured back then, I mean, 3 years straight of slayage I agree that Judas was an obnoxious 2nd single choice (don't come for me I love the song), but it didn't exactly flop. It only flopped for Gaga's standards back then... DWUW would have done better than Applause if the R.Kelly and the MV mess hadn't happened. PI was a terrible single choice, that's all. It is a stand out on the album though
judxs 762
How can you call Til It Happens To You a flop? It was never for the radio & it was nominated for an Oscar, Emmy and Grammy lmao MTN didn't deserve to flop

But commercially it's unsuccessful Here's the think, Gaga is doing terribly rn in streaming, but back then she was killing it. Bad Romance would have been #1 for months if streaming counted, Telephone woukd have hit #1 too. So as much as we don't like the fact that streaming takes such a big part of the chart formula today, it's kinda fair, considering that charts have to show which songs are the most popular/relevant atm, and a lot of Gaga's songs were much more popular than the hot100 made them out to be, because of streaming. My point is that taking streaming in consideration, Judas was very relevant back then, even though charts make it seem like it disappeared in oblivion. EmiRivington 311
OMG all of them are so freaking great. Honestly, I really think that if BTW singles had been released with more time in between all of them could've been number 1 hits. But ARTPOP will forever be the one that got away. G..U.Y and DWUW are actually heaveanly written bops that didn't get the credit they deserved. i think u freaky but you don't have a hit
GagaTheExplorer 3,053
million seller, multiplatinum, vevo certified top ten hit "Judas" is not a flop honey... Marry The Night deserved better It has an epic production, epic vocals, epic lyrics, epic (but a little bit long) music video and Gaga made her job by promoting it at: EMAs, Bambis, Ellen, Grammy Nominations, Alar Car and way other plataforms. MTN is not just my fave Gaga song but my fave song ever! It would have been a smash pop anthem if was released as the lead single or even as 2nd single instead of Judas Imagine Gaga performing MTN at Super Bowl and slaying America and the world with that epic strong message Spoiler Oh my gosh, I'm having a meltdown for this song now being the smash hit it deserved to be
