The Betrayals

and

The divergence from PURE POP

For me Gaga does pop best and when she's not giving me dance floor anthems I fail to give her my full attention and stan power i guess

No complaints!

I will say, I don't listen to The Fame very much at all, but it's only because all the albums after it are so much better. It was good for her first major album though. To me she's gotten so much better each era, and now with Joanne it's reached a whole new peak! (I don't care for dance music much besides Gaga's, so Joanne was exactly what I needed).

I bet if she were to do a hip-hop album, I would probably step back from it a bit. That's the only kind of music I really can't stand (although I think J&D is cute!)

I hate her crazy ugly outfits but I'm still a total fan. I love her so much, her music, her message, she's just amazing.:kara:

Some of the repliem made me think about something. When I look back on my Gaga-stan life, I realise that I obviously have not loved everything that she did (every song, every outfit etc.). I know that is going to sound childish and naive... But I realise that in the end I am here for her: the girl who preaches about kindness, the one who shares positive messages, makes statements, helps people in need, talent.

Everything else is just secondary: the outfits, the genres, the visuals, the charts. So, if I don't like one particular thing, it's okay. I will support her no matter what.

This Little Monster thing for me has been like a journey: it's something that continues and since the moment I saw her hit the Monster Ball stage (where I witnessed pure talent) and give those powerful speeches I really cannot take a step back or not love her anymore.

I've never seen Gaga live, mostly because I don't like crowds or places where music is blasted so loud you need to scream to talk to the person next to you and also because my location isn't that convenient; I would get home way too late for it to be worth it unless I were staying the night in the area of the concert.

Maybe I'll go someday, though.

Honestly I think i'm a Total fan!! Gaga had her ups and downs (in my opinion ARTPOP wasn't good) -> I didn't like the theme: "art" and "pop" are too wide and not interesting (the era had no real storyline) and I thought the outfits, tours, flyers, concerts were very cheap and tacky looking especially when you compare it to TFW era where she would wear Alexander Mcqueen on red carpets and looked like a walking piece of art. Now I'm realizing the reason i'm a hardcore total stan IS precisely because she's had low moments and flopped... it shows that she's human, not a machine/pop robot that belongs to the world. Take Beyonce for example, I like her, but i don't LOVE her cause she's too perfect.. she's never flopped/failed and is the "queen" for many. Perfection is boring...I prefer artists who show vulnerability and aren't afraid to fail. As for Joanne, it's not my favorite album but I think Gaga just wants to be respected as an artist now and that's why she did it. The fame and TFM and stuff were amazing but people ONLY saw the outfits, not her artistry (proof: ppl are only realizing NOW that she's talented). Albums like Joanne and C2C show her versatility and will make her a Legend, mark my words!!! :classy: :unicorn::rockstar:

The only thing i don't like in Gaga's work is when she talks about or references religion. I don't like religion and it's so cringeworthy sometimes
