Can anyone explain me what are "callout scores" and what are they for?

Basically it tells radio stations what songs listeners are enjoying and which songs they aren't, radio stations use these scores to either decide if they should continue to push the song or drop it

lol yes. Good thing Z100 started it. I believe it's partly because of them that other radios started playing it too.

To think that next week both will be at PR. :diane:

How can they know, if someone it's enjoying a song?

got this from ATRL

"Callout scores - A term that refers to radio listeners' reception of a song. To obtain these scores, respondents (radio listeners) are contacted randomly by phone and asked to share their opinion of different songs."

It's like the RateTheMusic survey.

Thread is getting to predictable... U can read everything in one page and that's not good for those of us who like reading for entertainment.

Rate the Music is run by fans though, which is bad, but good in our case:diane:

I think it was this week, as Z100 had it on the last one.

So which singles is MR officially more successful than?

Judas??

Y&I?

MTN (def)

GUY (def)

PI (def)

In the US and Canada, it's more successful than Judas, but Yoü And I wins by far.

In mainland Europe, it's more popular than Yoü And I, but Judas was definitely more successful.
