Hits in the UK are usually worldwide hits, even if they are not a hit in America. So I guess if you can dominate both markets, you've already got the whole world?

I listen to UK radio sometimes for example and they're all same type of tropical hous songs and no name songs. They are not even charting anywhere. UK is really irrevelant.

Not really. MR hasn't been pushed in Europe or anywhere else but the USA. If it takes off in the USA she could just re-release it like she did with Just Dance.

But she did promo in UK, and radios in Holland and France have been supportive tho. The only relevant markets left are Italy and swiss in which she slayed, Germany and maybe spain. But c'mon MR won't recover

I'd rather have a #1 in Japan. I know it is impossible but I think it is a much more profitable market.

I think I Really Like You was actually like a mega hit in Japan :emma:

Pop girls dead in the UK since 2011. with 2012 UK's musical direction went another direction at least for radio. But these songs arent even charting anywhere..

No one even knows it's a single over there. If songs smash in the USA they tend to be picked up in Europe.

Gaga does not make the type of music that Japanese pop fans like anymore. MR would never be a hit there; or anything on Joanne. That's not a bad thing imo. Carly Rae makes garbage.

So.. You know that truth. No need to ask :D Its same for everybody. Only Canada and US radios are playing revelant pop girl songs.

And how long is that gonna take? That might probably take until like mid year, and by then Gaga should already be trying to push a new hit single...
