After hearing the first demo of the song, Dr. Dre scrapped the idea completely and stepped in to help propel the song in a whole different direction. The end result samples two separate songs, but creates it's own unique fusion, and has definitely become a staple in Gwen's massive discography. @jujubae It's one of the biggest hits (commercially) on the album.And it's definitely a fun song but it's not one of my favourites. I don't like the chorus and I find her vocals slightly annoying. I wouldn't even choose it as a single. @Britneyspears The nanana part is kinda annoying but it's so catchy and memorable. It's a song closer to her No Doubt's roots. Another hit song and Eve is one of my favourite rappers. @Dr Evil Irresistible bop, very catchy; the sample is used in a very smart way, turning an old (1964) soul song into a pop smash. The melody is unique, unforgettable. Eve works well as a feature, she adds a breath of fresh air since the song can get a little bit repetitive towards the end. It has a very exotic sound, which made this song a classic among Gwen's catalogue. Best verse?
