Avril Lavigne to collaborate with Sooyoung (from Girls' Generation)?

last week, i saw on twitter an article of "daum.net" saying that Avril Lavigne will join in a duet with Sooyoung, from the project SM staion (whose who don't know, it's  a music project hosted by SM Entertaintment -> one of the biggest korean music/entertainment companies, and SM station basically, consists in releasing singles digitally, every friday, with artists from the company featuring another artists)

Daum.net is a very reliable source, and they already confirmed release dates from korean artists, but the article was mysteriously deleted

It's not the 1st time that Avril is collaborating with an asian artist, last month she released a song with japanese rock band "ONE OK ROCK" and it's not the 1st time that Avril and Sooyoung had met (Sooyoung asked her to write a song for Girls' Generation album)

 

What's your thoughts? Do you think Avril is thirsty for the asian market?

As long as this doesn't turn into Hello Kitty 2.0....

(though not gonna lie the song as a bop grew on me despite its racist undertones )
