10. Where Life Begins - 7.47

tumblr_m7cuspSoJ71rbxrw6o1_250.gif

Highest score: 11 - @monsterdino

Lowest score: 3 - @StarryNight

A jazz influenced track. Very sensational way to learn about oral sex, a tabboo subject. The beat makes feel like i'm in a night summer bar and have some drinks by the sea. - @Dr Evil

I love how the song catches the atmosphere of “being horny”. Like, the song sounds like horniness to me (if that’s even a word, I’m French huh). Obviously controversial lyrics and subject (it’s about cunnilungus), particularly at the time when it was released, sex was way more taboo than today… Love the little touch of humor : “You can eat all you want and you don’t get fat”. - @GagaInTheZone

This song is really smooth and cool, however it simply just goes on for wayyyy too long. I think madonna was a tiny bit too ambitious here. Whilst this song oozes of sexiness it just becomes routine after the 3rd minute and the last 3 minutes are a bit of a drag.  - @Robagaga

It's good and actually is the sexiest track so far, even moreso than the title track - @DeanWinchester

I especially like the soft feeling of the song mixed with the raw lyrics, a nice song to bop one's secret garden to - @DevilHeart

Another icy track with Dita at the helm. This is a lesson about eating a woman out. Dita warns the listener that this is not meant for public knowledge. She wants you and her to keep this secret. Its almost like at a confessional booth. She wants your trust just as much as you want to dive into her world of eroticism. The genius for Madonna to connect the vagina to where life truly begins and where everyone comes from. She puts it on a pedestal that she wants to show everyone that they should worship this body part. On the other hand Dita is inviting you into her most sacred territory. She wants you to explore it with her.  - @shoful

9. Waiting - 7.51

giphy.gif

Highest score: 11 - @MonsterJames333

Lowest score: 2 - @DeanWinchester

Love those smooth hip-hop beats. This tracks explores the same sounds as the title track. The spoken lyrics are pure eargasm again. - @Dr Evil

This song is good but it doesn’t really standout at all. It feels like the knockoff version of erotica. I can’t find anything inherently wrong with the song, its just I know that madonna could’ve done much better and it simply feels a tad lazy. - @Robagaga

at this point, I'm getting a bit tired, I never thought this is possible for a Madge album. How ironic that the track name is waiting well I ain't waiting. I skipped halfway - @DeanWinchester

Definitely one of my personal highlights off this album !!! It flows and slays so effortlessly that I don't even know what to begin with. - @DevilHeart

A continuation of "Justify My Love". Dita is back with more of her confessions about love. This track deals with the struggles in a relationship. Might be pointing to some emotional abuse, Saying "Only love can hurt like this" and things like "You're gonna break my heart, baby please don't hurt me"  - @shoful

8. In This Life - 7.55

giphy.gif

Highest score: 11 - @Creyk @Funkymonkey @DevilHeart @Hexxx

Lowest score: 0 - @MaryJaneHolland

It's kinda random after the energy of the previous track. It's very touching and the lyrics are emotional but kinda kills the vibe. It's also too long. - @Dr Evil

Definitely the most interesting song, lyrically. She’s just writing what’s going on in her mind about her friends who passed from AIDS. Probably one of her deepest song, along with “Mer Girl” from “Ray of Light” about her deceased mother. Amazing ballad, it would be perfect if the song was more dark musically though. - @GagaInTheZone

I don't mean to dismiss all the bitch crazy gems this album has but this one song broke and still does break my heart from time to time, it really has a special place in my heart and I quite often have it playing in the background of my mind while doing stuff. - @DevilHeart

Beautiful production and powerful song dedicated to a person. - @Hexxx

Madonna opens her self up to one of her most heartbreaking songs. She tells a story of her friends that died of AIDs. You can feel the pain and sorrow in her voice that really forces the message onto the listener and makes them feel the sorrow she feels.  - @shoful
