MR Still 69 Cents? Interscope Desperate?

Several songs have been left discounted just as long if not longer (Mercy, I Got You). It's not as desperate as paying radio to spin the song or have Spotify shove the song down peoples throats. It's enticing the GP. The higher a song climbs and gets notoriety the more album units it's likely to sell. Albums cost more than a $1.29 song, so I think it's smart and not remotely desperate.

If Closer can be in the top 5 for 26 weeks straight largely due to FREE Spotify and YouTube streams, I don't think it's a big deal that one of Gaga's songs benifits from being half off.

Cause million reasons is a masterpiece and it doesn't deserve to flop (and gaga wants more Grammys) 

But looking at the direction of the music industry, I don't mind. Considering Spotify and Apple Music is taking over.

And let's not forget, "Side to Side" was 69 cents for a while and that's a big reason why it became a hit

Some could argue even at that price, the song is worth more than many other songs pushed at full price.

And at that price, how cheap is the excuse for people to opt to download it for free?
