That's not a bad thing tho?  I agree that she's terrible and she is definitely not a feminist, but being a housewife is not something degrading for a woman... and being a full-time housewife and raising kids is very difficult so yeah those women (or men, I know there are stay-at-home dads) deserve some extra money for that.

I don't support anyone. I was interested in both Macron & Hamon but they both recently said things that turned me off.

Personally, I am merely defending her stance in this very specific case. Women shouldn't conform to the practices of another religion, although if she did it might give me one thing to respect about her lmao 

Where I'm from, Sheikhs and imams don't require women to wear the hijab if they're not Muslim during meetings even though it's against their beliefs; mutual respect. But since he is a mufti I kind of get the request.

Back in high school our Islamics teacher would avoid walking into our class if he knows our science teacher is there  But if he has to enter then he completely avoids staring at her (he's really religious and sweet lol) except when saying hello.

It would only be really required in sacred spaces (mosques specifically) as it is a place dedicated to practicing the religion, and I feel like in that case everyone should respect the religion since you would be intruding on their space, while this meeting was more political.

Meeting with officials is different from meeting in a mosque.

She didn't want to wear the headscarf, and the grand mufti didn't want to do the meeting if she didn't wear the headscarf. So both didn't want to change their point of view..

I don't know why Grand Mufti of Lebanon asked her to cover, were they suppose to meet in mosque or something? She seems to be there trying to get Franco-Lebanese votes. I doubt anyone from there would vote for her anyway. 

She mentioned by herself that Grand Mufti of Egypt didn't have that requirement, so each case is different. If she chose to cover, it would be out of respect for culture, but if you think about it why would she respect it when she's actively for banning even burqinis in France, she hates Middle Eastern/North African culture. It's just hypocritical of her, since she wants everyone in France to behave like French and follow only French culture.
