Fernster7 7,923
Oh my god, yes. Gaga needs to work with that Es Devlin person, those stages are amazing. I want her to step up her game with killer visuals. 1. The backdrops and interludes should be better than the ones of TMB. 2. The lightning should be designed to add to the mood of the show and create an amazing experience and not to be random as **** just for the sake of having lights. 3. Creative props, I loved the new disco stick and I hope she finds a way to use it to control the lights to make projections on the audience. 4. WHAT ARE SOME PEOPLE HERE EVEN ON? Bitch, you called the GP stupid because they couldn't see her talent past the crazy visuals but now you're saying she should not have those incredible visuals because they distract from her talent? Lmao. 5. While I agree that she should design a better tour because she's very capable of it the OP is a rude ass bitch. Monsters never die.
MJHolland 12,725
I wouldn't expect an epic stage for her touring with Joanne? Don't get your hopes up for something that tops BTW Castle or even ArtRave, you need to think of the stage Joanne would sing on
Der Meister 3,000
She did work with Es Devlin for the first leg of the Monster Ball Tour (2009).
HausOfNicole 177
I may be in the minority here, but I think all the tour set ups fit the albums they accompanied very well. The stages had their highs and lows, but I can surely see her vision behind all of them and they make sense when examined closely. For the JWT I expect something simplicitic and inimate. I think the lighting will be a key aspect as well as detailed visuals. What I expect though is a lot more one on one Gaga, which is the heart of the album. Psychedelic 1,098
I sooooo agree with you. A good stage can be more simple but more changing. BTW castle and ArtRave catwalks were enormous but they were the same throughout the whole show. That is something you cannot make monsters understand, It is great for the couple of songs, then it becomes dull! Britney's, Katy's, or Madonna's visuals are way more innovative and creative without being so elaborate physical-wise!

It is elaborate, way more than any other stage ever... so what? Throught the whole show you see the same stage, it never changes. MBT had better changing visuals without having to be so elaborate, That's what the OP means! Last 2 Gaga tours were turning dulll by mid-show, when your realize it is the same set and theme for every song

The rest of the show it is all the same... it gets boring viasually, imo!

Above the buildings would be an LCD screen to allow for backdrops and such. I imagine a runway similar to the artRAVE runways but they're not translucent and are reblocked off, but have a road pattern, so she could bring out a car similar to the Monster Balls with a piano inside like the Jingle Bell Ball, and be able to finish the piano set by driving it off singing John Wayne Literally my concept
chiuga 1,970
Gaga comes from a theatre background so she always prefers real props than those big screens However, why don't we have both?
TimisaMonster 31,073
I hope the tour is elaborate but not too simple with just a bare stage with instruments and a screen..... Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!

Shadow 6,639
Feel free to design a world tour stage yourself and send them suggestions, by all means. Stand in the light, cast your shadow.

I don't think of her doing something bland, but the music isn't super theatrical on Joanne, so I would imagine the stage being a happy medium. Something similar to the setup she had on SNL, but scaled larger.
