Ever since 2015, I always thought it's time for her to create a full on disco themed album. Then when I heard her having Kevin Parker as one of her producers, I was expecting psychedelic new wave rock vibes for her album.

I know this topic has been discussed a MILLION (reasons stream it now :stalkga:) times now, but I just wanted to share with you guys this concept I had for her album that can infuse all the genres she can work with to make it sound like she's very versatile in music,

Yes I am that dedicated to this I made an album cover don't judge :madge:

"An album exploring the enigmatic ways of love and the stages of grief through songs with genres ranging from disco, to funk, to new wave and psychedelic rock, to folk, and dance pop."

Main producers: Mark Ronson + RedOne

Last Dance [Germanotta, Ronson, Rodgers] - Quiet verses and a banging chorus, a disco themed song with a funky bass with samples from Let's Dance by David Bowie.

Words [Germanotta, Khayat, Moroder, Rodgers] - Lyrically emotional disguised in a upbeat disco track that transitions from Last Dance.

Disco Death [Germanotta, Ronson, Moroder] - Loud intro, with groovy bridges, with samples of Le Freak by C'est Chic.

Inferno [Germanotta, Ronson, Rodgers, Tucker] - Disco + funk infused dance track with tropical beats, an ode to 80's disco with a modern twist.

The Experimentalist [Germanotta, Khayat, Garibay] - A funky, chaotic melancholy song. Typical ballad you can dance to.

Bar + Gain [Germanotta, Ronson, Parker] - New wave and psychedelic rock, 60's nostalgia with echoes all around.

Unfathomable [Germanotta, Ronson, Parker, Hansen] - Lyrically emotional, vaporwave music, with analog and studio instruments.

Rose Blues [Germanotta, Tillman, Ronson, Tucker] - Full on hippie vibes mashed with downtown blues, a sullen guitar with a sympathetic voice.

Real Love Baby (ft. Father John Misty) *reworked [Tillman, Germanotta, Ronson] - A guitar and a kick drum, infusion of psychedelic rock and soft folk rock that transitions from Rose Blues.

10 The Babel Tower [Germanotta, Khayat, Blair] - A track that starts with a country influenced instrumental and ends with a banging electronic dance pop record, a calm intro and a loud and chaotic outro.

11 York Days [Germanotta, Ronson, Homme] - Dance track, pop song that sounds straight from 2008 but still fresh, clamorous intro and ends with an electronic instrumental.

12 Sober [Germanotta, Khayat, Hansen, Tucker] - Tropical and summery vibe dance track, described with a sexy and haunting voice.

13 Father's Love Letter (ft. Adele) [Germanotta, Ronson, Adkins, Edworth] - A duet with soulful voices with a taste of bliss and love, folk influenced dance pop record.

14 Eden (Paradise) [Germanotta, Ronson, Parker] - Pop and electronic intro, psychedelic feels in the choruses, and ends with a jazzy twist and a trumpet solo.

"The album talks about the stages of grief, starting from Shock (Last Dance, Words), to Denial (Disco Death), to Anger (Inferno, The Experimentalist), to Bargaining (Bar + Gain), to Depression (Unfathomable, Rose Blues), to Seeking/Testing (Real Love Baby, The Babel Tower, York Days), to Acceptance (Sober, Father's Love Letter, Eden). A handful of producers, with 2 collaborations (Father John Misty and Adele), the perfect transition from one genre to another, shows Gaga versatility as an artist, while telling her story of love and sadness, heartbreak and sorrow."

Don't get this wrong please. I love Joanne ever since it was leaked***I mean released and I bought it bought physically and digitally :sis:. I just wanted to share my thoughts on an album that transitions from one song to another.

BTW, I don't know if "Opinion" is the right tag. :gaycat:

I love your concept but I want her to make a more R&B influenced album BUT I'd be here for either a modern Disco album or a Psychadelic Rock influenced album with songs like New Person and The Less I Know The Better

I think her voice would suit pretty well in a full on R&B song, I mean Second Time Around is good.

I was thinking her doing more contemporary PBR&B like Abel's mix tapes, Dawn Richards and Tinashe

This is a dream album. Like you literally described my dream album. Thank you for typing this all up and sharing. I love Joanne too, definitely my favorite album, but I'm the same as you...I heard Kevin Parker and couldn't stop dreaming of her doing full on psychedelic new wave rock-pop. I would be even more obssessed if she did. Perfect Illusion is only a small sample of that kind of disco-rock sound and it would be so amazing if she picked up more of Tame Impala's sound and made it hers.

Make it happen Gaga!

Your concept just reminded me of this godly and fake Joanne snippet.

Like I said, it would be very different to what the radio is right now. It's been obvious that Gaga releases something different in the radio, I'm perched tbh :gaycat:
