I can agree about Vespertine, but Vulnicura? I don't think so...not everyone is used to 10 minute long track wich don't have really a structure. But my first song that I heared from Björk was actually Pluto, wich is explosive. So when I heared Post it was a bit more "normal" than I expected maybe that's why it was easier for me to digest

She's not just a pop star, she's above them all. Tho my fav is Gaga, I can't deny in the past few years Beyoncé became such an icon and a musical legend, she can do everything just like Gaga (yes, at least Bey plays the piano too) She's behind EVERYTHING she does, from writing to videos production, she sings flawlessly, her dance moves are flawless to, and her concepts are just above everyone in the industry, even Gaga. which none of these she thought of by herself imma cut a bitch

This. I am still a bigger Gaga fan because what she does appeals to me more, but you cannot deny the powerhouse that is Beyonce. She is beyond a superstar now. What dismays me is the insouciance stans who try to deny her legacy. They just fuel the illogical fallacies that she isn't the living legend she is. Gaga herself is already in her living Legend beginning stages. Beyonce has been in this game since 1998 - some of you stans weren't even born or walking/talking by then. The first Björk song I heard and loved was actually Mutual Core from Biophilia, one of the strangest, most polarizing body of work from her so far, which is probably why I think that Vulnicura was an easy album for me to digest. She took inspirations from Biophilia and Vespertine and made the whole album really work in my opinion. Best since Vespertine in my book.

She is married to Jay-z in order to have a continuous career! Now she is using feminism as a trend meanwhile she was photoshopping her thighs on instagram in a perosnal vacation photo, how feminist is that! Also she has diva attitude which means she cant be taken seriously as an ARTIST (real artists are down-to-eart approachable and humble, see Gaga) +she's always been oversexualized, now she's presenting it as 'feminist'! Gurl please!!! BLM and being proud of her roots + diva-unapproachable attitude, those two they don't fit together sorry! I am not convinced at all for her intentions! Not to mention the fact that she avoids giving interviews coz she doesn't know how to speak (Wendy was right saying Bey speaks like she has sixth grade education). How can someone be an "activist" when she's wealthy af (far away from the typical lifestyle of everyday black ppl) and UNEDUCATED she doesn't know how to speak! She has a whole team behind her! She doesnt know a sh*t! YOU READ MY MIND
EdX 2,897
Like her or not, Beyonce is the MJ of our generation. The reason why we can't really compare her to Gaga is because of the experience. Gaga has been only 9 years in the industry, Beyonce - 20! Although, Gaga has accomplished AMAZING things for her age (and could easily earn her way to the very top as well), Bey has definitely earned her spot on the top as of now. (And to all THOSE people who just can't stand that someone they don't like are hugely successful, no she hasn't had 60 writers for any of her songs)
Katie14 4,828
Why do people say beyonce can't speak well (ie she isn't articulate)? I watched a few interviews and she seems to speak well to me. Can someone explain or post some examples? @AndyDWUW @vivre sa vie
sipthistea 21,099
So delusional hahaha These people don't want to see beyond. And who are the experts anyway? Beyoncé fans? This is getting more ridiculous each time. It's like that time Billboard named Beyoncé the new Bob Dylan. So hilarious!
