yxi 4,999
Sporting a white pantsuit and a "resist" armband, Katy Perry gave the first major political performance of the 2017 Grammys Sunday night while doing her song "Chained to the Rhythm." A major supporter of Hillary Clinton during the presidential election, Perry's performance of her new song that she released on Friday was certainly a message that she will continue to be a major voice on issues she believes in. And it made her stand on President Donald Trump's administration pretty clear. Her Grammy performance ended with her sharing the stage with Skip Marley, who is featured on the track, and a graphic of the Constitution's words behind them. Perry's final words before ending the song were "No hate." Video here: http://uproxx.com/music/katy-perry-grammys-2017-performance/
Robagaga 9,345
Awwww cute, proud of her growing as an artist. Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.
Lottie Winters 1,628
This whole Katy Perry politics thing is so contrived I can't. #bubblebubbletroubletrouble The most interesting part to me was sing the phrase "tone deaf" with a straight face. SarahYuko 1,002
I don't see this doing much good for Katy. But if it's what she believes in, then alright.

KevinLeto 325
She sang live! It wasn't amazing but her vocal has improved a lot I think! Overall it was a good performance, I love the idea with the house turning around and the dancers. Good job Katy! I'm the spirit of my hair, it's all the glory that I bare

MarryTheAngel 551
I don't think she has the cultural clout, image, or presence to even attempt political themes. Her background just doesn't fit. I did like the house falling into pieces in the end. That was a nice touch.

My Little Phoney 658
The blond hair washes her out so much. Her vocals are okay this time but still so far below the other major artists'.
