Prince's Music Is Now Available On Streaming Services

Featured Posts

Prince’s music is freely available to stream once more. In 2015, all of Prince’s music was pulled from every streaming service except for Tidal. Following his death, the late icon’s estate sued Jay Z’s Roc Nation and claimed that Tidal didn’t have exclusive streaming rights to Prince’s discography. Now, Tidal is no longer its exclusive streaming home—you can find his albums now on services including Spotify, Google Play, and Amazon Music Unlimited, with Apple Music and others to follow shortly. His full catalog will be up by the time the Grammys begin.

He didn't want his music on spotify. People really want to make money out of these stars. No respect for the dead :nails:

Honestly, if I was a famous singer, I'd put in my final will that all my music must be deleted from stores and streaming services, no one milking my death in this bitch :madge:

But I'm not so... :laughga:

I wish you were  I hate how they put out music from Amy and MJ after their death, Just to get some money out of it. Those artist didn't release these things, because they didn't want to. The same goes for prince and spotify. I don't want to talk about Gaga's death, but when she goes I hope her family takes care of her unreleased songs and keep it away from these greedy people.

I don't know what to think about this... On the other hand, people need to hear his music! But Prince himself clearly was against streaming services (apart tidal) so it does feel disrespectful...
