So I thought it would be fun to rank the performances that, in my opinion, have been the most important in Gaga's career. 1. Gagabowl @ National Lady Gaga Worship Day '17 2. Paparazzi @ VMAs '09 3. The Sound Of Music Medley @ Oscars '15 4. Born This Way @ Grammys '11 5. The National Anthem @ National Lady Gaga Worship Day '16 6. Dope @ Youtube Music Awards '13 7. Til It Happens To You @ Oscars '16 8. Bowie Tribute @ Grammys '16 9. Swine @ SXSW '13 10. Telephone ft. Beyoncé @ Superbowl Rehearsal '17 That last one is tied with Telephone and Dance In The Dark @ BRITS '10 (my personal fav), but choices had to be made . Perhaps my ranking will change next sunday . It was rock bottom for her as a popular artist. Not the best performance. Not a very loved performance. But an incredibly important one in the timeline of her career. You really put a lot of meaning back into that performance for me. I remember how everyone was against her at that time and calling her a flop.
