Rewatching a ton of Gaga performances right now, and it struck me how impactful some of her performances have been - either commercially, personally or just careerwise. So I thought it would be fun to rank the performances that, in my opinion, have been the most important in Gaga's career.

1. Gagabowl @ National Lady Gaga Worship Day '17
2. Paparazzi @ VMAs '09
3. The Sound Of Music Medley @ Oscars '15
4. Born This Way @ Grammys '11
5. The National Anthem  @ National Lady Gaga Worship Day '16
6. Dope @ Youtube Music Awards '13
7. Til It Happens To You @ Oscars '16
8. Bowie Tribute @ Grammys '16
9. Swine @ SXSW '13
10. Telephone ft. Beyoncé @ Superbowl Rehearsal '17

That last one is tied with Telephone and Dance In The Dark @ BRITS '10 (my personal fav), but choices had to be made :diane:. Perhaps my ranking will change next sunday :excited2:.

I'll fight anyone who doesn't agree with me tumblr_inline_ntlpchKNUd1qf3eh3_500.gif

I agree, number 10 is a must

I wouldn't count Dope tho

Not only did the performance garner a lot of attention, but it also symbolized a turning point in her career. It was rock bottom for her as a popular artist. Not the best performance. Not a very loved performance. But an incredibly important one in the timeline of her career. From that point forward she took control back, and started down a path that lead her to all the incredible things she is doing today.

I know they weren't big performances that were focused on Gaga but Marry The Night at BBC children in need was so great!

I also wouldn't count Dope, I don't see the impact or importance

I love this. I would also add Do What U Want @ the 2013 AMA's. That one showed who she was and sent a powerful message.

Not really a performance, but her singing Born This Way in 2010 wearing the meat dress was ICONIC in my opinion :firega:

You really put a lot of meaning back into that performance for me. I remember how everyone was against her at that time and calling her a flop.
