Stewful2929 786 Posted February 10, 2017 Share Posted February 10, 2017 I need advice. Is anyone else having a major issue getting GA tickets through pre sales? I tried the Cit bank presale, the Joanne merch presale, and live nation with no luck. I logged in right at the top of the hour and all tickets were still gone that quickly! I'm confused because when I go to stubhub.com they already have tickets for the second leg of the show that doesn't go on presale till next week. How do they already have these tickets? They are charging double and triple prices for them. If I'm forced to buy one off there I will but does it work? Can you still use tickets from the reseller sites? Meaning you swipe the credit card used to purchase the tickets the get in. This was for the VIP package, too. I used StubHub for a floor ticket for the Atlantic City artRave show and it worked, but I would check the venue rules to make sure you don't get burned. They put a big amount of tickets to their resale sites so they can sell them more expensive. If they dont finally sell them, then they take them back to the original site saying more seats are available. At least i got a Come To Mama ticket for the Barcelona show on the presale and today, the general sale, it just sold out in minutes theres so many people without a ticket. Something weird is going on because stubhub had tickets for like 200-400 GA for dates that haven't even started their pre sales yet. GagaLogic 194 Posted February 10, 2017 Share Posted February 10, 2017 As far as the credit card entry thing goes, I saw an eBay auction that said they would send the auction winner a prepaid card to swipe at the show for entry. A prepaid card is like a credit card that's not really attached to any account, like a gift card of sorts. So that's how the scalpers are getting around the credit card entry thing. I suppose that's what you'd get with Stubhub or any reseller, since some of the tickets are paperless so something has to be getting scanned to get in. As far as the tickets they claim to have for the second leg, I don't know; maybe they are just anticipating being able to buy a lot of them next week.
