Diamond Heart ("RedOne" style remix) - Work In Progress

Hi guys,

So since my previous "RedOne" style remix of Perfect Illusion was well received, and after getting remix request's to remix Diamond Heart in the "RedOne" style, I thought I should give it a go. This link below is a rough draft of the full mix, I hope you like it.

lowering the pitch makes it more prominent..

Idk. There's too much going on with beat. Doesn't fit the vocals

I only shifted the key slightly...with 0,5 semitones.... for me it was interesting that the original song was never pitch perfect

You should use a better acapella, you can hear that awful filter sound in that one

The vocals are like a semitone off. It's very noticeable and makes it clash with the instrumental the entire time; it's especially prominent in the chorus. I'm not sure if there's a cleaner a capella, but I'd see if you can find one and maybe pitch correct it in Melodyne or something?

With that said, I think the concept is very neat

Thank you,  The remix has already changed a lot since I posted this snippet. I am going to work with this high-res of the acapella, and make it better.
