So no, this isn't the best era while i do agree, as a diehard of the "old days" myself, its important to remember context. that was her astronomic rise, and peak... and ended with her "fall". she is now being referred to as an established legacy artist so seeing her excel after all of that, the GP backlash from her overexposure, after the tragic hip accident, after ARTPOP and its messy era, joanne sure is amazing to see her persist. even if its a slow and steady wins the racce approach, shes got that fire again. its like her true comeback, even if the sales and cultural presence do not match the former years... So no, this isn't the best era But even back in those days she was a polarizing figure. A lot of people loved her but a lot of people hated her too.
