QueenTam 311
You should relax. JW is a fun and unique pop song, the video is so Gaga and that's all she needs. AYO would flop as a single tbh
Michaelandro 442
Who cares There's nothing on Joanne that's hit worthy and that's ok, she's doing fine anyway.
ShayCristoforo 10,607
What a dramatic thread title LOL. Even if the GP doesn't enjoy it (which is still undetermined), I don't think one less-popular single is gonna reduce the talent and power demonstrated by her Halftime. The world knows it. So I'm cringing at it's "ALL" over. Have a little more faith in her legacy, rather than thinking one risky single will "end" her. Fan shouldn't let the GP's reception help determine how valuable she is to you. Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.
RAMROD 111,734
lmao stop worrying and buy Joanne Tour ticket for once 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。 ✧*:・゚ you supposed to cook for us, AZ (˃̣̣̥ᯅ˂̣̣̥) ♡♡♡
ActualPatient 2,079
Does Gaga accept managerial positions? Then send your f*ckng resume. Oh, she doesn't? You may have forgotten her business and career AND her label is not centered on your perception of what a 'hit' song is. They have extensive marketing teams behind this entity called a LABEL and if you think you can do a better job, go fix your LinkedIn profile and apply at Interscope. I love the video so much and I think a lot of people agree with me! It's like they can never get satisfied, like jeeez! Gaga did exactly what we wanted from her...release a bop for a single and give us good visuals and she did it...now they complain being "too experimental"

Killa 17,981
First and foremost, GP my ass this whole thing was getting her fans/casual listeners. And that's a really good strategy, if you ask me. People were missing the GAga factor, although i don't love the video, its a good reminder of her brand, and the song fuses well Joanne aesthetic with usual Gaganess Also it's catchy, i don't think it's going anywhere, but you never know
TheBatman 951
The video is awesome! Superbowl, John Wayne video, guest judge on Drag Race, Joanne era saved! Living for it!
donutellha 13,819
her career was cemented by taking risks as an icon dont worry, she's got a hold on it now Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

I like the song but the heavy masturbation lyrics and the weird sound at the beginning would turn off most radio DJs. JW is the most radio-friendly song apart from A-YO and Diamond Heart. MelbHawker 6,583
I think JW has mass appeal; my sisters and cousins dislike Gaga but LOVE JW because of the VSFS. I think though, that if she made it a single it'd come left of field because Million Reasons has made such an impression on the GP. JW is the opposite of MR.. then again, Gaga's at her best when she does songs like JW. The video is amaze. At this point, I don't think Interscope is too bothered by commercial success. The album has sold really well.
