We know the jump is fake, but did nobody really notice something dangling in the middle of the air just waiting there? I'm really starting to believe that there's actual magic involved... Gonzi 2,800 Posted February 8, 2017 Share Posted February 8, 2017 If you look closely, the intro seems to have 2 different broadcasts, at 0:52 the drones are all over the sky and suddenly at 0:56 when they do the Gaga close-up the drones seem to occupy a smaller space behind her. I think the close up shots where pre-recorded and the more wide open shots were live. And that they did this so she could be taken down slowly while they showed the taped part of her jumping. I think she intended to put it on for the Million Reasons performance but they probably fell short of time taking off her eye patches? because the transition between JD and MR was pretty fast. It was not missed tho OR They probably scrapped it because they wanted the audience to see the emotion on her face rather than be distracted by a sparkly cowgirl hat. I'm definitely not complaining that it didn't make an appearance! It would be interesting to know though what the reason was for it being scrapped. But if you see the videos from the stadium, they were all looking at the roof when the show started, they must have thought she was indeed elevated to the actual roof.
