Wow. That's incredible. I hope Gaga sees this. I wonder what she did to scare politicians...

Same, like what? Did she screamed at them, creepily stared and look at them dead in the eye all through dinner?

You know, I was recently thinking about how the hell Gaga got an A-list star like Beyonce to do a song with her AND be in a music video when Beyonce still won't even collab with notable celebs to this day. When Telephone was written, Gaga was still a rising star early in her career. Now it makes sense.. they probably became friends when Gaga opened for her.

This is incredible. She has changed the world in a very real way. Saved lives, even. Indirectly, we all knew her music aloneĀ has been doing this for years.

But what is so great is that Gaga's legacy will be and already is beyond music, showmanship and fashion. Her activism directly changed the military in AmericaĀ forever.Ā

She truly is our generation'sĀ Michael. She is a legend and an icon. In time, the rest of the world will realise this - it's happening already, slowlyĀ but surely.Ā For now, we remain the woke stans.Ā

and i remember when gaga wore that lions mane, nest head piece to an awards ahow & felt comfortable enough to go up to beyonce in person and ask her directly if she would work on "this specific song" together. i swear i remeber the pics and it was what gaga said when in an interview when asked about how the collaboration came about for telephone.

i love their friendship, i love that they keep it mostly private instead of forcing the friendship down ppl's throats in the media.

Interesting. She wore the nest piece to the 2009 VMAs and TFM came out two months later. I never knew that's how she asked Beyonce.

Unfortunately I don't think they really have much of a relationship anymore. Gaga never even casually mentions Beyonce and there's never rumors of those two working together or even hanging out. The same goes for Kanye West.

We are all lucky to have Gaga standing tall for our America and not only us Americans, but for ALL young people all over our world. I do truly feel that Gaga helps us bring about positive change and as this thread gives great example to, has already helped push amazing changes that have already began to take shape and are still shifting for the greater good of humanity and our greater rights. She is a very busy and involved lady who leads by example and is a trail blazer even behind the scenes. She just does what's right with all of her celebrity privilege.:applause:

Thank You for posting @PropaGaga

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

I have a feeling (considering the time in her career) her presence was just quite a threat. I mean politicians know that pop culture figures have more public support than they do so they hope they never angle it against them cos they know they'll lose. I think Gaga probably used to be there as queen of twitter saying how many millions of her fans believed in repealing DADT and that could have scared off those stuffy politicians who know the public barely knows their names.
