Lady Gaga's Sales Surge Over 1,000% in Wake of Super Bowl Halftime Show

Based on initial sales reports collected for Sunday, the diva sold about 150,000 digital albums and songs in the U.S. on Feb. 5 -- an increase of a little more than 1,000 percent compared to the previous day, when she sold around 15,000 digital albums and songs. 

Her biggest-selling song on Feb. 5 was “Million Reasons,” which sold more than 45,000 downloads -- up nearly 900 percent compared to the previous day (about 5,000). 

On Super Bowl Sunday, Gaga also tallied big gains with “Bad Romance” (up 1,525 percent to over 13,000 downloads), “Born This Way” (up 2,202 percent to over 12,000) and “Poker Face” (up 1,217 percent to 10,000).

 Joanne was Gaga’s biggest-selling digital album on Super Bowl Sunday, with over 12,000 sold (up 1,077 percent compared to its previous day: a little more than 1,000). 

Gaga’s second-biggest selling digital album on Sunday was The Fame Monster -- home to both "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" -- with about 6,000 sold (up from nearly nothing the previous day).

This is incredible considering today will be her biggest sales day this week. MR is on its way to a 100k+ week and Joanne a 40k+ week. Many of her old hit will also enter the digital songs chart and Hot 100 recurrent chart. Also, Joanne, The Fame, Born This Way, and possibly ARTPOP will chart on the BB200.

I think she finally paid her dues when it comes to being taken seriously by the GP, she keeps delivering great performances. And I think we need to start filtering the singers and the actual artist in this industry; especially the mainstream charters. Gaga is an ARTIST, We know that, it's time the GP does.
