I'm so proud of her. Last night I held my paws up a lil higher because this wasn't just for her, it was for us too. As I saw all of those monsters in the crowd surrounding the stage it reminded me of what's really important. We are NOT a fanbase. We've been through too much together to be a fanbase. We're family♥️. Last night we got to be a part of history because there will NEVER be another performance like that. So here's to the boy with the acne and braces that can't sit at the "cook kid" table and the girl who has been told "women can't run multi-million dollar corporations. The boy who gets pushed into lockers and the girl who just wants to play guitar in some rock n roll band. Last night was for you. ♥️

I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

Loved the whole show. I especially loved:
-Gaga saying "Whether life's disabilities....cause..." and her dancers screamed CAUSE BABY YOU WERE BORN THIS WAY!
-After BTW ends and she does the sandwich move from Telephone.
-During Bad Romance, I love the little kick they do for the lyric "HEY!"

It was phenomenal. I never imagined that this rooftop thing was going to come out so well. When she sang while upside down and zoomed from one parapet to another, my mouth just dropped. I've never seen anything like that. Her choreography was on point, it was so great to see her properly dance again. The Telephone moment proved that she didn't need Beyonce for it, she could slay just fine on her own. Million Reasons was so touching and that ending, one of the best ever! I didn't actually see the drones spelling out Pepsi at the end, it wasn't broadcast here, but seeing it on Vevo afterwards, O.M.G. I really think she did well with the message of love and acceptance without hitting people over the head with it in a jarring way. And the repeated mention of God will certainly keep the conservatives happy and prove she's not a devil worshipper after all.

Now, for little criticisms. I don't think any SB show has ever been perfect, so this is nothing new. I think not performing TEOG was a real shame. It's one of her most public friendly hits. My dad was disappointed that she didn't do it. A quick shout of "I'm on the edge!" was a real missed opportunity considering she'd been on the roof just moments before. Her patriotic cover was lovely but that space would have been even better filled with TEOG, just a small snippet, that's all I ask. And singing a new song from Joanne would have been great too. But then, no SB setlist has ever impressed me 100%, so a small disappointment or two doesn't phase me. I also wished she could have had some slightly more mainstream pretty looks. I always think she's beautiful but if she'd really gone in for that American cheerleader look that she sported at the SB announcement, it really could have made people see how truly gorgeous she is when she's not got strange things stuck to her face. But that's all a drop in the ocean.

My favourite SB performance and I hope it goes down in history as one of the best. She deserves to be as big as Beyonce after this but whether she actually will...that's the question.
