What did your friends and family think of the performance?

Well I had a bunch of monsters over at my house so we all loved it!!!! My grandma called to tell me that she loved it but she just had one tiny problem "where was her leather". That's a direct quote. Grandma this is Texas. They're a hell of a lot more conservative than NYC. I don't think she was allowed to wear that

honestly almost everyone  I know was expecting her to fail..

then after the show  I was on my facebook, smiling, content with all the positive and love and great posts about gaga and her talent and her great voice <3

I watched with my Mom (who is just as much of a monster as I am, particularly for Joanne) and she loved it and rewatched it immediately on YouTube.

 

Also watched with my little bro and his girlfriend. They both went crazy for the aerial moves and the costume changes! When she made her final jump to exit the stage they both GASPED. My brother said, "Holy sh*t, but she's wearing stilettos!" 

 

My husband watched while he was at work. He works as a chef and the bar was having a Super Bowl party. So basically it was a crowd of tipsy Idaho rednecks, and they were all thoroughly SLAYED.

It was 2 am here in the Netherlands when the halftime show aired and my mom was angry AF because my screaming woke her up lol.
But when I showed her the video in the morning she loved it and for some reason she knew the words to This Land Is Your Land??????

I was at my house with a few friends who are not avid Gaga listeners at all and everyone was so shook. One of my friends said, "I knew her performance was going to be good, but I didn't think it was going to be THAT good!" And everyone kept saying how much of a great vocalist she was during the whole thing. That same friend also was like, "How is this bish going to go and sing and dance for 3 songs and then come and sit down and do a ballad and not be out of breath?" Lol. Also with the drones my friends were like, "Is she on the roof? Why do those stars look so fake?"  

My mom was also texting me during it. She said it was one of the best halftime shows she's seen, and it reminded her of me and my friend back in high school when we would jam out to her first like 3 albums in the car with our mom's.

my dad wouldnt stop saying that she looked fat and that wtf was she wearing. He saw the jump thing and said oh wow... ironically. Later he said wtf are these songs and she stilllooks fat. Then said that when gaga saw the recording she was going to delete it cause she looked fat. Then my mom said she isnt singing live and left (before million reasons) and i was literally about to cry but the excitement lifted me and i finished it. 

 

Btw i am SOOO happy with the show we got. Im sooooo proud of gaga, i have rewatched like 4 times now
