Watched it by myself, but my mom called me before and after lol. My whole family loved it, and they actually love her too. I remember the days when my mom was so concerned that I loved this woman who bled to death on stage and wore meat. Now she knows that she is so much more than that.

My family all loved it! My friends all called me to tell me how much they loved Gaga now, and they all posted about it on their snap stories! I had family calling me after telling me how well she did and loved her patriotism! It was so crazy getting all these calls, I felt like I had just performed!

I was at a party with about 75 people and the first reaction was "she's on the ****ing roof!" to "She's fearless" when she jumped to "she's singing all this LIVE" to "look at that stage" to "I loved this song" during MR to "she killed it" to "that's the best halftime show I've ever seen" to after performance talk about Sound of Music performance, her duets with Tony, how she sang live while dancing, jumping, running, etc. and didn't have to have guests on to take a break....

The praise went on and on! These were not a bunch of Gaga fans, just people at a Super Bowl Party, many who were football fans and were not very excited about her halftime show.

my dad wouldnt stop saying that she looked fat and that wtf was she wearing. He saw the jump thing and said oh wow... ironically. Later he said wtf are these songs and she stilllooks fat. Then said that when gaga saw the recording she was going to delete it cause she looked fat. Then my mom said she isnt singing live and left (before million reasons) and i was literally about to cry but the excitement lifted me and i finished it.

Watching with my man, and loves her performance. He's not into pop culture but he congratulated me after the show over, saying that my idol is great and talented.

 

Also, got a text from someone unexpected

A man I used to had fling with texted me after a long time, "Watching this Half Time show, and suddenly thinking about you.  She's great! Wish to see how you'd reacted." 

 

Cannot wait to hear what coworkers think

My friends that were with me were more fixated on me literally having an exorcism while it was going on but when it ended they asked why it was so short, they wanted all of her hits

My mom cried with Million Reasons. I played it earlier in the morning and she said Gaga wouldn't sing it because it had to be upbeat and she was so shook when she performed it. My dad said NOW THAT'S A SPECTACLE just when Bad Romance was coming to an end, they were all shook.

When it started my mom was surprised by the drones and when gaga jump off she was like WTF GAGAAAA. lol, she loved it. And every five seconds she was like "Omg, she's a real artist. A true performer. She's crazy tho"

And while the performance my dad started calling me -on the phone- and I was like "WTF DAD STOP CALLING, STOP CALLING I DON'T WANNA THINK ANYMORE" and then he texted me to ask if i was watching the superbowl because lady gaga was killing it.

Needless to say, my father who is not that big of a fan of hers said: "There's never been a HTS performance like this, ever". He was shook. I'm so ****ing proud of Gaga  And my mom caught onto the message in the beginning where she was singing "god bless America" and "This Land is Your Land". Truly one of the best HTS performances ever.

The 2 Gaga stans out of my friends loved it to death. The rest didn't care. She isn't even charting high on iTunes here in Hong Kong. They don't care. I am sad.
