Letmelivemylife 8,715
I remember how dark life was without gaga and I don't ever wanna go back to that place. She saw how broken and afraid I was and she "glued" me back together. People are right in that she wasn't the first to name her fans. However she was the first one to say "it breaks my heart to see them so broken and sad". She loved those broken kids enough to create a "home" (little monsters) where they could be loved for who they are. She glued those broken kids back together and she loved them as if they were her own. To everyone else she's just a popstar but to me she's so much more. People just see my monster tattoos and lable me an obsessed fan but they have to realize that she was there when no one else was and she loved me for who I was when nobody else did. She/monsters gave me a million reasons to hold on when I had 100 million reasons to let go. "People always say 'oh you always talk about your fans' but how can I not? They're my reason for everything. They're the blood in my veins." Best gaga quote ever. I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you
bitchimtrying 2,495
I wouldn't have realized that there is nothing wrong with being completely different to everyone around me.
Katie14 4,828
She has helped to make me a more open minded, non-judgemental, and empathetic person.... because I judged her at first and have never been so wrong about a person in my life. She also helped me to appreciate performance art and music more. I think she made a huge impact on my outlook on life. Id have to really think about this to try to separate out what I believe was her influence versus other influences/just my original personality.
