SlayGagaloo 16,152
I mean, is it wrong that i want to see her topping the charts like she used to? imho. she knew 100% that Joanne isn't remotely close to anything that's popular nowadays (or ten years ago ) but she released anyway. now I'm not complaining about this album because i LOVE it. but why is she acting like she doesn't want to have more hits? (it was completely the opposite back in ARTPOP days for example, after February 2016 the hype was real, she could've easily released a bop with her long-time collaborator RedOne, but she didn't commercial success isn't a bad thing or IS IT? what do you think? DeleteMyAccount 11,881
It's not her fault that radio doesn't play good music.
Squeeshy Keety 9,908
She deserves it more than anyone out there, and her talent ought to be recognized and celebrated, so I agree that she should, but it is not a dealbreaker for me at all, and I love her music more now than ever. Should she? Yes Will she? I don't know, and I don't particularly mind if not so. It would be swell, though. They / Them 🏳️🌈
Decodekid 28,168
GURL we all want or fav to succeed i think the main problem is that whenever a single is released we become so desperate for it to become a hit. We need to go with the flow and let the song do its own job. There are many big artist who peaked, went down, and eventually got another hit. Believe me, from now to 20 years Gaga's gonna have at least 1 more hit lmao. Long Live Gretchen

SEXODUS 5,927
She doesn't care about hits. She's italian. She's her father's daughter, her sister's sister, her self's self. She don't need to be on top of the charts, just on top of the SB stadium and under that G.U.Y. Spoiler B.U.Y Joanne on iTunes
Delusional Aura 5,129
Sometimes I feel that gaga do want to be on top of the world again but she doesn't want to deal with the stress that comes with it. She can't have both and I think she realizes this. So she choosed her music (doing it the way she wants) which makes her ultimately happy and forget about what the world wants. She's happy now and that's what matters.
Werk 13,166
I think it's fine to want Gaga to have more hits and I hate it when people shame those who say this. As long as you're not only being a fan of her because of the hits then that's good. I agree like I really want her to have a hit this era especially around the SB I mean knowing her song is growing on the charts just feels so satisfying haha
SamJ 8,008
Well PI was a #12 hit here I can either take it or leave it and I love the song so its a #1 for me. She's one of the biggest stars in the world she still has hits she's just not dominating anymore but thats fine. Katy hasn't had a hit in half a decade beyonce hasn't had a hit in 8 years etc etc just chill
Yo GagaGaga 6,541
In only 8 year she's gotten a lot of moderate hits -Just Dance -Poker Face -LoveGame -Paparazzi -Bad Romance -Telephone -Alejandro -Born This Way -The Edge of Glory -You and I (US Hit) -Marry The Night (It didn't chart well, but its remembered by most of the GP) -Applause -Do What U Want I would love to see Gaga having every single she released be expected to land on the top 5 like it used to be, but she's had a lot of hits in her short career

Of course it's not wrong to want to see her topping the charts, especially because she deserves it. Just don't obsess over it. Commercial success certainly isn't a bad thing. Maybe for this album she was not focusing on that, but who knows, LG6 might be a bop-filled album and top charts! Let's keep our fingers crossed. :holyshit:
