Gaga helping PTSD understanding

It's important but it pains me so much to remember this sad truth. And they didn't talked about her chronic pain, that seems to not be connected with the hip injury but with a traumatic experience.

Love her tbh

The article states that Gaga's rape causes her to get PTSD. But, didn't she say that what really caused it was being overworked and not being taken care of physically and emotionally (after already being in a bad place mentally because of her depression and from being raped) ?

Same here. Wish there was something I could do to make it less painful for her and everyone else suffering from any illness, it breaks my heart so many people are hurting in this world :(

I remember her explicitly talking about how it was caused by her hip accident+everything after, but I don't doubt that her assault was a factor in it, also.

But you're right, has she mentioned that explicitly? I'd hate to assume in putting two and two together.

She said it in her letter and also the Italian interview she did. Im pretty sure she didn't even mention getting raped in her letter and she only discussed it in the interview because the interviewer specifically asked about it.

I think she was trying to make the point that her getting raped was the original traumatic event but the way she was treated after was what caused her to get PTSD from it (and then not being treated right added additional traumas in addition to it causing the PTSD from getting raped). Its so hard to try to explain this and im not even sure if I am understanding it right,
