kaojen 1,571 Posted January 24, 2017 Share Posted January 24, 2017 I'm from Orlando. This past year has been hard. The lyrics "shots were fired down the street by the church where we used to meet" really resonate. The shots you know about. The church? Basically the club where all of my friends and I would gather to feel free and safe. Also, I live 3 blocks away. I spent many years going to that lovely club with my best of friends and my wife. Some of my best friends and super gaga friends I've met there. Whenever I listen to Angel Down I think of it and cry. Also, the subject of the song,  Trayvon Martin, was shot just about 40 minutes north of us. Central Florida had been through a lot. And it still hurts a lot of us daily. Music can be both healing and help emotions erupt upon listening to it. I wonder if there will be a day when u don't cry when Angel Down plays. Enough about me. Are there any Gaga songs that always/used to make you cry?
