You know she lips, right?

OT: You can see Beyoncé is a perfectionist and works her a$$ off to nail the complete performance and I've always admired her for that. Personally, I prefer a more personal and spontaneous performer like Gaga, but that doesn't mean one of them is better. Both are absolute kweens!

good point.

I'd have to say Gaga. I didn't put anyone to the forefront in my last post because I wanted to further the discussion.

It's true. They're very different performers, but I prefer Gaga over B because she is more versatile than anyone else in the game right now.

This :applause:

So the whole aesthetic of the Joanne era might not be my thing, but I still admire her for surprising us with yet another new sound. Gaga really isn't afraid of trying something new. That takes a lot of courage!

I didn't even read the op but I'll give my option anyway. I don't like Beyoncé's performances simply because they're too flawless, too perfect and I don't feel any connection between her and the crowd. It's not raw enough. But she's incredibly talented you can't deny that

let's be honest here, gaga's performance levels downgraded a bit since ARTPOP, she used to be more theatrical, that was the thing that made her better than bey, because on singing and dancing they are almost the same

joanne performances are cool but they could be better

... and now i just sit in silence.

I hate Beyonce but she's a way better performer and also vocalist bey can dance and give vocals yeah I am disgusted praising her but I'm a realist

She can't play instruments, doesn't emit as much emotion as Gaga, and cant really provide a theatrical performance the way Gaga does.

I personally find Gaga to be the all around best performer of the two, but I feel that Beyoncé is just so loved around the world, that the hype behind her from all of that love, makes her appear bigger than she ever is, while performing. It's all about that stage presence and Gaga has that as well, but it's overwhelming with Beyoncé. Maybe in another decade more, Gaga can have that backing as well.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Overall, I think Gaga is more talented and is, hence, capable of greater things. That said, Beyoncé is a great entertainer as well, and I think that more entertainers and artists should aspire to reach the levels of either her or Gaga. I won't start listing names, but there are plenty of entertainers right now who need to start taking notes, taking lessons, et cetera.

Well, Gaga's vocals are average sometimes because she always sings live (yes, even with loud backing vocals :trollga:)

Beyonce's voice instead seems always so perfect because she usually lip-syncs and she's been caught several times. She can be trained and all but she just likes to play it safe, vocally speaking. I'm not saying she can't sing, she just doesn't do it as much as Gaga.

So, yeah, overall Gaga is a better performer because she is more authentic  :queenga:

Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?

Bey follows the plan.

Gaga rehearses the plan and what not, but she's much more willing to go off the lines and take a chance.

That said, they're both very different artists. It's like comparing a painter who does portraits versus another who paints landscapes.
