I played some songs from Joanne to my friend last night. She already knew PI and MR!!! And she first asked me to play MR and said she likes it a lot. Then I played John Slayne and she said it's cool, but she didn't tell me what she thinks about DIC and A-Yo.

And how and when can I open a thread? Can someone explain me?

One of my friends loves the album Joanne, he's always listening to it apparently. I think he likes Grigio Girls and the ballads very much. I also made him listen to some songs on Born this Way and he liked them (Bloody Mary, Government Hooker maybe).

His boyfriend doesn't like Gaga but he likes Hey Girl apparently. And maybe the whole album but he doesn't admit it.

My gf is not a Gaga fan but she likes her a lot, she has all of her albums. Her favorite songs are Americano, John Wayne, Teeth, Beautiful Dirty Rich.

I think another friend once said to me her favorite Gaga song was Alejandro.

The others don't like her.

You have to make 50 posts and then you'll see the button to create a thread.

My boyfriend is really into old music, you know from 60's,70's and he is really into rock and metal aswell. He hates pop music and especially today's pop stars including Gaga.

But just yesterday, I was at his place and while he was making pasta I took his laptop cuz I wanted to force him to watch Gaga's Paparazzi VMAs performance on youtube. :firega:

I typed 'lady gaga' and in the search bar 'lady gaga ayo' came up first, in purple color which means he already searched for that song before. :ladyhaha:

LMAO he was so embarassed, he didn't want to admit that he likes it

My friends, none of whom are full-on monsters, all went through the same general trend.

They all had a sense of novelty about her during TF/M. They weren't fans, but this girl was "weird", so it was "cool".

Then they were all really turned off by her when she became overexposed during the BTW era. They would ask me to switch when I was playing her.

Then, a few years went by, and the novelty came back when I would play ARTPOP when we were partying. They loved it! So at that point I assumed they liked the "lack of maturity" Gaga from TF/M/ARTPOP, as opposed to the seriousness of BTW.

But then Joanne came. I've bonded, laughed, and cried over so many different songs on this album with so many different friends/family. So I think right now I'd have to say they like Joanne the best. The sincere heart-to-heart conversations I've had with people over these songs seems more powerful than the novelty of her early work.

Literally everyone I've played "Diamond Heart" for has gone wild for it!
