Yes it was created by Troy Carter and Matt Michelson but that was in the Backplane days. Troy isn't connected to the site anymore as far as I know since transferring over to Place and the Haus of Gaga and Born This Way Foundation are still very in control of the website. The whole point of the site (and for the little monster name) was to have a "home" for us to go to where we would be loved and accepted for who we are.
