I am sure she will return one day to being more artsy. I consider myself a Joanne stan because I love this new toned down version of her BUT I admit that it's so annoying to hear her kinda say "this is the real me, I'm a normal woman" when she actually became famous by encouraging us to be different and to celebrate our weirdness. It almost seems that "Joanne" the persona is the "fakest Gaga" and I'm actually questioning now if 2009-2013 Gaga was even real or just "a character" or "a phase" that wasn't actually close at all to the real artist underneath... In interviews in the early eras she said the reason for her persona, costumes, and performance art was to help her fans free themselves, and if they were made to feel like freaks she wanted them to see the "freak in me" so they won't feel alone. CrazyGa was one of the ways she helped people. But it was a stage persona, which she felt she had to play all the time for her fans. She's 30 years old now.
