Because they have the time and energy to make things trend. The biggest point here is that she could make herself trendy. She chooses to evolve with her fan base. She could make another hit single in 5 minutes. She just doesn't want to be 50 years old trying to relate to teenagers. I'm glad with the direction she is going and will continue to buy my lady gaga albums until she stops making them.

Dominic 11,922
The music just isn't as interesting as it used to be. Joanne is okay but it doesnt have that clever writing like her previous albums. It shines on songs like DIC but otherwise it's all too obvious. The music itself is coated in this country twang as well which isn't a popular sound at all. It's not that she needs to jump on the tropical house trend but it'd be nice to see her take herself a little less serious and have some fun with her music. Even AP which was meant to be a fun album became shrouded in deep-thought and seriousness. I guess I'm just not here for this sound that she's putting out atm. I can't relate to it and it doesn't make me want to dance or even feel emotion (except JAD). Maybe next time. Johan Colli 230
I always remember the fact that David Bowie's Heroes flopped in the radio when released, and it was one of the few actual radio-aimed singles he sent in his career. Now look how big that song is now. Time pays off.
ThatAsianGuy 2,365
I dont care if Gaga flopped as long as she continue to grow as an artist and break boundaries. Cant wait what LG6 has to offer already i hope she does disco this time.

Kesha 595
Post like this make me wonder how Adele is having big success when most of her singles are like ballads and stuff and her videos are boring

When will people understand that Gaga never does something without full conscious intention. She will not release random songs in random genres at random times. It is calculated. Gaga will never be popular by following trends; Gaga will only be popular by creating trends.
shmal96 2,928
You can say that she's disconnected with youth because her music doesn't fit what they want, but Adele still destroys the charts and her songs are not dance/sex songs (relationship yes, but it's a straight up balled)
