Why would you be offended if you're good cop? You'd support and agree that black lives matter.

You could probably make the assumption that they wrote that on the box as a sort of anti-police thing...I'm a BLM supporter (like 99% of the time...not here for burning down gas stations ) and I'd be a little miffed if they just jumped to the conclusion that I'm some racist just 'cause I'm in a uniform. There's really no other reason they'd write that on the box

Though I wouldn't complain. I'd calmly tell them "I agree. That's why I wear the badge", thank them for the donuts, and walk out knowing they probably feel like a jerk

But it's not anti-police statement or assuming you're racist. It is a message to police as a whole, I think. I agree with what you wrote here.

Hopefully, but I don't think it was very thought out if that's the case. I mean, a semi-SJW liberal (me) took it as a backhanded statement so I can only imagine what the average person, including this cop, would think

Imo, little incidents like this will only widen the divide and continue to perpetuate the idea that BLM is somehow synonymous with anti-police rhetoric...we all know how they'll take the smallest thing and run with it. We've got to be smart while backing this cause and that does not include sending cops BLM messages on their donut boxes, ya know?
