and if the emmy´s had credited her in TIHTY she would have an emmy considering this one actually won it...She should be an EGO by now but no....voters and rules screwed it up

Apparently the academy didn't include the names of the performers/ witters of the songs on the ballot: they only put the song title, and so a lot of voters got confused between Sam Smith's 'Writings on the Wall' and Gaga's 'Till It Happens To you. So technically she should have won.

"The script now is getting a preproduction polish from Oscar winner Eric Roth" You don't understand how much this has calmed many of my nerves from this project. Not only has he won an Oscar for his writing, he has also been nominated for many films.

Before hearing this I was worried about Will Fetters who is attached to the project as the screenwriter.  The movies he has been attached too have not been great.... In large part because of the writing.

I'm starting to feel like this project won't be totally awful, so that's something

Shooting is probably 12 weeks at most. It's on sound stages so should be quick. I bet the music will take longer, she probably does that while touring if she's writing new material. Tour might not start until May if it's announced in February at the SB, and I don't imagine much of Joanne is getting choreo so it might not be so intense... seems she's going for a more rock show style concert.

She'd need to finish the music prior to shooting the film I'd imagine, seeing as it's a musical...
