Are the ARTPOP "demos" fan made? Are they part of a package?

Okay, so something has been bugging me forever about the supposed ARTPOP demos that have been circulating recently. For a long time now, stems for the songs and their demos have been floating around, they were around before ARTPOP was even released.

Someone made and leaked this version of Swine before ARTPOP was released.

Not long after ARTPOP was released, Operation Gaga arranged for Fashion!'s stems to be given to Country Club Martini Crew to remix it with Get Lucky. This also included a vocal stem that is also referred to by many as the "demo vocals."

Now we have these Mary Jane Holland, Venus and Fashion! "demos" slowly leaking but are they simply made up from these packs? It might seem a little far-fetched but I remember reading that the stem packs contain additional vocals that aren't used so are people simply playing around with the stems and selling / trading them as "demos" when they're really fanmade?

There probably isn't much to discuss and I have no idea what to label this thread as but I guess my advice is go careful. If you're offered to buy a demo or swap something for them, be a little wary as they may just be fanmade and there's a chance we may get the full packs from ProjectGaga.

ProjectGaga said that the Venus demos (and probably MJH) are fake, they were made from the vocal stems. The Fashion! Demo used in the remix is real, but it's only the vocal stems, not the instrumental stems.

Ahh I missed them clarifying that. I've always been a little skeptical because I've heard that there are actual "packs" for each song that contains the stems used in the official version and then some extras that were unused like more vocals.

Maybe tbh

I'd die to have these packs anyway. But we have real demos tho: Sexxx Dreams, Aura, MJH (#1 demo)... they are real and not fan mades

Hmm, I've never heard of them. Not sure if people have the stems (only vocals) or have those packs

The Swine one is a real demo, it's mastered differently, has a different BPM and I assume it was from when Gaga wanted to make a more "EDM" version of the album ergo a 6 minute song. It leaked 3 days after Swinefest happened if I remember rightly.

The Venus one seems to be a multitrack pack (hence why the hightone and lowtone vocals exist on those fanmade "demos") and the MJH one seems to be a pro tools pack hence why someone posted the lead vocals and stuff

they have only 2 and the rest is just stems edited together to make their own versions :lolly:

It contains all of the leaked stems though, there's nothing really different about it apart from the mastering / mixing (which would happen with a fanmade song from stems) and the minor change in BPM. I do quite firmly believe the Swine "demo" is just fanmade.

all the demos are most likely separate than a pack because theyre all been traded around for years.the reason why people have kept these is to trade it with other for things they want and if someone were to leak it,its useless

The pack we have for it is from the demo itself it's a protool one, the unused bgvox prove that, plus the BPM is off from the album version of ALL those stems and I doubt anyone would've had hold of protool stems to a song from an album where literally nothing leaked from except from Applause a few days earlier (Aura not withstanding since Gaga leaked it herself) and from a song we barely knew existed up until Swinefest promo. The demo leak is the demo and as I said it matches her full on EDM idea she had since most EDM tracks that aren't made for Dance-Pop albums are typically 6mins+.

Also like I said the demo leaked just after Swinefest and the version at Swinefest was exactly the same as the demo (minus the intro) the Bgvox were mastered like actual BGvox instead of talkback BgVox, the backing singer bgvox were in the live version but not the album version and the Swinefest performance was faster than the actual album version. It's the demo pure and simple before she tweaked and edited it in the last few sessions before she sent it off to interscope.

EDIT: Also there was that Instagram post a week or two before she had to hand in the album when she was making Venus and she had a list of all the final touches that need to be made to the songs and if i remember correctly Swine was on the list with MJH, Brooklyn Nights, Venus and the title track
