No.  As for the observation that it doesn't have the type of recognition as, for instance, The Fame Monster: the thing about 1989 is that it does its thing and does it well. The songwriting is consistently good and the production is tight.  But it does not, however, have an ounce of originality or take any risks. It's just not that kind of album. That album is so overrated in my opinion. Or at least overhyped - the hype killed my whole experience. I was never able to enjoy the music because it was already praised to heaven and back.
