HolyDelRey 21,101 Posted January 3, 2017 Share Posted January 3, 2017 Yeah, Million Reasons it's currently doing 'good' on the radio, but when it comes to sales & streaming the song it's flopping so bad. The song had major promo such as performances on (VSFS, SNL, Royal, Alan Carr, Carpool Karaoke) & more promo spots which i can't remember right now. Myself and a lot of people from the fanbase, dislike the Millon Reasons music video, that's the only reason why i don't stream MI anymore on YouTube. The song has around 17M views on the m/v and 38M on Spotify which is frustrating. I see that a lot of people are rooting for the song, and so am i. Before anyone @ me, many people from the Chart threads remember how passionate i was about the song / and how much i've been trying to convince all of you, to start shaming MR, and it worked somehow after i opened countless threads about it, explaining how important it is. I see a lot of people who belong to other fanbases doing streaming parties on a daily basis, for example check out @CamilaStats on twitter, and see how passionate are they on things that matter, which are voting on polls / requesting / and streaming as much as they can. I know, that doing this kind of things won't make the song hit, and some of you will say that the song needs to be streamed by the General Public in order to became an actual hit, but don't we all check out songs that have huge streaming numbers, doesn't make you that curious? Also, the Radio would definitely add more the song, if the streaming numbers are higher. Lady Gaga has just proved with Joanne how weak is she when it comes to streaming, and we can do something about it. The major / and most important music market / is the US! Most important streaming service is SPOTIFY, and the top 200 US spotify, Million Reasons it's no where to be found on that list. What should we do : Spoiler 1. Download HOLA VPN, and switch our countries to the US. (it's free) 2.Open an free account on www.spotify.com, and chose US as your country. 3. Login through your browser, (you don't even have to download the program) play.spotify.com. 4. Create a playlist with two short interludes, and add Million Reasons as the 3rd track. And click the replay button, even when you're not using your computer, leave the playlist on, every stream will be counted. The only prisons that exist are ones we put each other in.. Call it the "Music not the bling" mentality, but if you care so much about the charts, and not about the music, you're stanning the charts, not Gaga. Sure, commercial success is great, I'm not saying that she shouldn't/can't have it, but what I'm saying is that if you're going to just focus on that, then there's no point in listening to her music. You listen to her music because you like it, not because it's doing well. If you want to listen to something that's doing well, then go listen to Closer or something.
