Many, many were forgotten Look at well known/popular artists today: Justin Bieber Katy Perry Nicky Minaj Rihanna Taylor Swift Bruno Mars To name a few. These are not artists that lasted 2 years and disapeared. We have plenty of artists in the modern times that last JB is gonna struggle now he has had his 2 years of intense success thats all really TS had a year she is a bit irrelevant now Bruno Mars has lasted like 5 years. Same sh*t I think its harder to get fame and success now. More and more people are after it. In the 80s all you needed was a decent recordable voice like madonna's for example and she got swept off and turned into a pop star. Now you have to bring something different to the table. I agree becoming famous is more demanding I just dont agree that the ones that do make it disapear faster We have many artists now that last and those that dont last Past decades were the same.
