CatelynnMarie 4,406
I love her music so much, but her attitude and just how she goes about things is so disturbing to me and really upsets me. I don't understand why she HAS to lash out in such a way. Like there's ways to get your point across without having to be so hateful
Tumblr 1,846
Just now, PopBitch said: A few communities? No, it's not the whole Catholic Church. But you are in denial. It was much more widespread than a few. And the church was complicit in that they were covering up the abuse and moving the priests to different parishes subjecting more kids to abuse. This so much. The girls here just don't get it because they don't want to. Mariah - Ariana - Rihanna

I'm not generalising if it's known that the church hides their sexual abuse past (and present and future). Ooolong 4,440
What makes Azealia's current state and situation any different from Britney's or Amanda's? Honestly. When Britney and Amanda started showing symptoms related to mental illnesses, they weren't treated how y'all are treating Azealia, not even close. Amanda was just as disrespectful and inappropriate on social media, not to mention she drenched her dog in gasoline and nearly caught it on fire. A lot of the comments were, "I hope she seeks treatment", or "I think she may possibly be diagnosed with...". So why can't the same CIVIL conversation apply to Azealia? Publicly shaming Azealia is doing NOTHING for her. I hate to bring race into the situation but it likely is a factor. Sorry, but the fact that many other (white) celebrities before her have acted similarly and were met with better reaction is apparent to me. I think she's a perfect target for many, not even necessarily people on here, but in general. If you want Azealia to change, you have to ENCOURAGE her. Yes, there will be horrible people who do atrocious things, but that shouldn't validate blaming the whole community. And I get that. What you're saying is that they're terrible and horrible things. And the fact that they are being covered up makes the worse. I completely 100% agree with that. However, maybe it's just the way you're phrasing them, but it makes it sound like you're blaming the entire community, which I believe is unfair. Lady Palutena 3,147
Eh whatever, Sia actually has a career because she's not even close to "pompous" and she literally started from nothing; she's been in the game longer than a lot of pop girls and she has worked hard for every bit of success, accolades, recognition. Plus she has a fun personality and a down-to-earth attitude. Azaelia is known for being problematic, unprofessional, and generally unpleasant. Glad Gaga scrapped her from ARTPOP when she did. Tradition or not, Azaelia using it as a way to grab headlines is so trashy. Tradition is supposed to be sacred, not used for sensationalism. But whatever, guess she needs a way to stay in peoples' minds since nobody really knows of her existence any more. And of course she would attack her looks because unlike her, Sia has a career. #TeamSia Adoremus in caelum, Palutena. Dea luminis.

But those words aren't coming from the Pope himself, just writers and journalists. I'm blaming and including every priest/nun/pope/person with power that would've known about what was happening but chose to turn a blind eye to it. If you follow Christianity, I'm not talking about you because you couldn't/can't prevent what is happening but the people with power can. Maybe it just my misunderstanding of the situation, and I apologize for that. I just felt that it was unfair to judge an entire community based on some peoples' actions, people who have known about whatever was going on, should be held accountable.
