tbh ur right I do not know much about witchcraft, even the sub-group of witchcraft azealia pretends to be apart of. But it seems to be a group that is on the fringe.

The fact that she is a person of "influence" () and is promoting a religion that tortures animals is very problematic. It's clear she has extreme psychological and emotional problems (See: the story of her attacking Russel Crowe and then claiming he called her the n word and hit her). She needs to just disappear of the internet and check into a facility.

I get some people are against eating animals, but you still can't say it's the same thing as slaughtering animals for witchcraft 

The chickens most likely suffer less being slaughtered for witchcraft than they do when being killed for food 

Don't know what everyone's problem is tbh.

So because I eat meat 3-4 times a week I am a worse person than this girl who kills chickens and who knows what other animals in her apartment because she believes it will help her in achieving success? And you even put her on the same page with a butcher because she "does this for earning money too"? I didn't care about Azealia's things in the past and I don't really care about this either but I just really don't agree with your way of thinking now.

the point is yes a lot of people eat meat but what kind of sick f*ck that lives in an apartment in NYC with other people has an unsanitary and disgusting room in their HOME filled with DEAD chicken carcasses and BLOOD smeared on the walls.

This b*tch definitely does not own her own apartment considering she is DEAD BROKE, so someone is going to move into this place after her and probably wont be able to get the smell of death out of that coat closet

Okay stop. People kill animals to consume their meat. This is NOT the same as something killing animal with the intention of "cursing others" and casting "spells". 

If we're talking about religious sacrifices, then let's talk about those. The first one that comes to mind is kosher/halal laws. Both are done in clean areas and have someone praying for forgiveness for killing an animal. Then the animal is consumed. Not the same thing. 

Relgious holiday sacrifices. Also done in sanitary places with a professional butcher on hand. And believe it or not, there are actually less cruel means for handling animals for consumption. That's not a very popular topic to discuss, especially amongst the vegan community who believes that any form of killing an animal is is cruel, etc. but there are actually less painful and quicker ways. It's upsetting. At the end of the day someone is taking another life, but they're consuming the meat, meeting full cycle of nature's progression.

If you want to be honest, in some ways it is more healthy to be vegan. You don't consume the sulfur that meat possesses, it doesn't have as harmful long term effects, BUT, there isn't actually any true way of being completely animal free. Children born depend on milk fats for survival and brain development. There is currently no successful means of artificially producing animal free milk fats that are suitable for infant consumption. Vaccines that we all take are made through animals. They are incubated in live organisms and then engineered in a laboratory. 

If we're talking from an evolutionary biology standpoint, we have enzymes in our body that have to ability to aide in protein degradation and animal protein degradation, believed to be necessary for our ancestors who couldn't farm or who lived in very dry, arid climates that didn't support much flora for consumption. 

All of this being said, how can you still compare what Azealea Banks is doing to killing animals for meat consumption. It really isn't the same thing. Religions that do this aren't doing that for the sake of casting spells. So I don't get why this is being spread around on this thread? 

And I'm not just addressing you, so please I apologize if this feels like an attack, I just didn't want to quote every single person.

no u are not worse, but u don't have the right to brag about Azealia bc she kills animals...bc u are basically supporting that since u eat animal products

you were defending azealia because you were comparing the torture of animals for food to the torture of animals for her voodoo sacrifices that clearly have not positively impacted her career so they dont even work

i was pointing out the fact that what she is doing does not only harm the chickens but also the OTHER PEOPLE who live in a close vicinity to her because of the diseases that these dead chickens can carry and the fact that she is doing this on property that she doesn't even own....

That's not my point though... My point is that at least if someone is eating it it's being used for something productive.

That's like saying that destroying trees for no purpose is the same as cutting down trees for making paper or building a log house.  Yes, knocking down trees is not the best, but doing it for no reason is 100% more terrible..
