Leeo 2,366 Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 Ok let's think one thing: Million Reasons was chose "instead" and remember back in January 2014 with that big "Littlemonsters.com" letter where she said that Applause & DWUW vids weren't the best because she had only 2 weeks to think + create and yeah stuff like that. The same happened to Million Reasons. Did u guys realize that this woman was promoting the song like... Worldwide while shooting the music vid\thinking and stuff? The "switch-single" happened right before the last DiveBar. 3 days later she went to Japan. Then, she went to USA with American Music Awards. then Paris to film the Victoris Secret's Fashion Show. She had almost no time to shoot and video. Gaga need to rest too. My bet for real is that, they just did some footage and kinda "edited" all together trying to make it look good. U can see that the vid has the L.A. desert scenes, then on the backstage scene u can see the fur coats on the background (the one she wore in Paris...). It was 3 months doing footage + editing something that just wasn't "well thought". A-Yo might use the Apple Music footage, maybe it was supposed to be like a preview for the video, since it was the original second single, but let' be honest that the apple commercial for AYO---------> Million Reasons scenes. It has choreo, a beautiful outfit... I wouldn't mind if she puts those scenes in the middle of the vid (AS LONG AS IT'S EDITED AND LOOK GOOD AND NOT RANDOM). Another hint that I heard once, I don't know if it' real but: Originally, for TEOG, gaga had another director in mind, not Joseph Kahn. Since the song was decided as a "THIRD SINGLE" so fast, she didn't have time to meet up with the "original director" and create the vid, so they called Joseph Kahn as a second option..........................suddenly not even the second option was good enough and we ended with the actual TEOG vid............................... So, what does it all mean? just give her time and trust the choices. Not because 1 vid is bad that all the vids will be bad (ok that Perfect Illusion is not a "BAD ROMANCE" but the vid itself is not bad. It's really good along the song meaning and all. The edition -------------->). We are fans and we just want her the best for real, but we need to also support her choices (I mean... it's a single. Sure, it's one of the best songs on the album, but it's almost as heavy as Perfect Illusion and that one had a hard time fitting in the radio. A-yo on the other hand is not the best song on her repertory but it's something light and catchy the radio and GP could pick up easily. Anyway, one thing we keep on forgetting about is her commitment to tell "the story of Joanne" with this era, which makes me wonder, where can A-yo, John Wayne or DIC possibly fit in that story?
