Should Gaga collaborate more with contemporary artists?

If you don't think Mark Ronson and Bloodpop are contemporaries, I must be ancient for thinking that they are; also, a feature with Gaga or a Gaga song with a feature is not going to provide her with a better chance to score a hit unless she completely gives up her artistic integrity. The real question is do you want Gaga to be more music or more bling, not whether if a feature will make her more marketable because given Gaga's constraints and attitude towards her music, she is not willing to sell out because she knows she can make the music she wants and find some financial success? If she finds chart success with one of her songs that she chose to do for the music rather than the bling, that's just icing on the cake

Few artists have hits for more than 3-4 years

 

Artists like Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Justin Bieber that have stretched their success out longer are exeptions not the rule

A lot of Gaga's collaborations have been weak tbh but I would encourage her to work with more mainstream producers and DJ's, a collaboration with Sigma would be sick!

I don't know about you guys, but if truth be told, I'd love to see Gaga record another pure pop song!!! She is so good at creating catchy and make-you-wanna-dance songs

Gaga would "collaborate" with more contemporary artists if any of them actually showed up in the studio. She said that she has trouble catching the vibes of other people when they're not actually present in the studio with her, which is why she didn't want the Cher collab released and why there are no further collabs with Beyoncé or Britney, even though she expressed interest in doing so.
