Reggae, Latin, And even some Arabian/Bollywood elements (especially in the prechorus) When i hear this song, I just picture hips swaying and shaking, and who's the only other talented legend that has all this right up her alley? Shakira of course! shes a true artist. Writes her own music, comes up with her own creative ideas and etc, great dancer, philanthropist, down to earth and humble as hell. She loves Gaga and has praised her before. I'm surprised Gaga hasn't even acknowledged her at all tbh. Especially since at the beginning they were at same award shows a lot. This was when Gaga had released The Fame/Monster, Shakira had released her She Wolf album, so they were often at the same award shows. I've always thought to myself how I couldn't imagine any other artist besides Gaga on DIC, but Shakira would actually be a perfect match. It would probably be a hit too with a viral and sexy music video (and another Latin artist on it like Pitbull/Maluma/J. Balvin). Man, I really hope Gaga/Interscope doesn't snub this as a single. It's explicitly sexual, sure, but it deserves more exposure. Let's not lie to ourselves, it's the most single-worthy song on the album. It really really really should have been the lead single from Joanne. I understand the narrative with PI being chosen, especially as a way to sort of reintroduce her image and sound for Joanne, but still.
