Gaga doesn't need to top herself anymore

Do you guys feel like Gaga doesn't need to top herself anymore?

During The Fame/Monster and Born This Way she used to work very hard and she was always trying to be more and more over the top. Now it feels like she finally got to the conclusion that she doesn't need to top her previous albums, because they are the ultimate marterpieces. It's like Michael Jackson trying to top Thriller - it was impossible.

I might be wrong, but I don't think she will ever top these two albums. She might work with high-quality projects and very acclaimed records, but they will never feel like her golden years.

I don't think she thinks that she doesn't need to top herself, I just think that she's just being herself, and evolving and changing. She has herself during The Fame/The Fame Monster, through Born This Way, through ARTPOP, through Cheek to Cheek, and now through Joanne. She's just evolving and changing, and it just so happened that she was extremely successful with her first few albums.

No one, at the time, was like Lady Gaga. She was revolutionary and amazing—and still is—but I don't think she consciously makes a decision to decide not to top herself.

I personally think she could top that, the versatility of her voice and her IMMENSE talent could make her create an album way better than both of them together, I'm so sure of that

she can't really top herself anymore, and that was shown during this era

people always expect from her to do something better than before

but that happened back in the day, 2010, 2011 etc.

She might not be able to create music in the same vein that are superior, but that doesn't mean she can't repeak/have a new golden age in the form of other genres

She is definitely topping herself with every record, because that's what in her vision - in her mind, if you understand me - but in the eyes of fans, I'm sure nothing will top TFM+BTW.
